Dear Members,

Our next meeting will be on Monday 13th November, 7.45pm start, and our speaker will be Jill Kashi who is a Volunteer at Baddesley Clinton – the very beautiful National Trust moated manor house. Jill’s talk is entitled “60 Years of Change: Working Life at Baddesley Clinton 1923-1980” and is based on recollections of people who worked there during this time of uncertainty and change for many such houses.

Since this will be our last meeting before our Christmas social event I will be inviting you to bring along contributions for our festive table on December 11th.  To help our planning please would you let either Margaret Kane or myself know next Monday evening whether you will be able to bring something and if so what?  Some liquid refreshment will of course be provided!   If you are unable to be at next week’s meeting but intend to bring something along on December 11th please let us know by responding to this e mail.
