Data Protection Form

Notes on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

In 2018, the current Data Protection Act, which gave protection to individuals against inappropriate use of their personal information, was replaced by a more stringent set of rules, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In order to comply with this, and to assure our members of KHAS’s commitment to data protection, every member and joint member is being asked to complete the Data Protection Form declaration above. KHAS will not pass on your personal details to other organisations.

Membership Types Available

You can also join KHAS at one of the monthly meetings. Contact the treasurer Anthony Manning on 01926 852655 for more information. The following information details the various forms of membership available to newcomers:

Membership:

This is open to all who are interested in the objective of the Society, subject to an approved application. Membership shall lapse if the subscription remains unpaid three months after it is due, and may be terminated in any particular case by a resolution of the Committee. The membership fees for 2023 remain at £10 per annum per person, £15 per couple, which entitles the member(s) to a free copy of Kenilworth History worth £5, published annually.

Associate Membership:

This is available to anyone under 18 years of age, students and representatives of school historical groups or societies. Such Associate Members shall comply with the conditions relating to Members of the Society, and enjoy the same rights and privileges.

Honorary Membership:

This may be granted by the Committee on such terms and for such period as the Committee shall decide in each case.

Meetings

These are normally held monthly. All are welcome, and entry for non-members costs £2. See the KHAS Programme page for details of forthcoming meetings.
