A reminder that our next meeting will be on Monday 10th October, when Sheila Woolf will be making a welcome return visit to speak to us about “Queen Victoria and the People’s Park”.

We meet at 7.30pm for a prompt start at 7.45 in The Senior Citizens’ Club off Abbey End Car Park, behind The Almanack in Kenilworth Town Centre. All are welcome. Entry is free for members and entry for non-members costs £2.

I am pleased to report that our Heritage Open Days events went very well.  When we opened the Museum at 2.30pm on Saturday 10th September we actually had people queueing outside to register for the 3pm talk/tour and all of the places were booked within 10 minutes!!  The Sunday event was also very well attended.  Sunday the 25th was our last afternoon of the season at the Museum and after closing we had our usual reception to thank our volunteers for their help.  Thank you again to all of you who have supported us throughout 2022 and I hope that some more of our members will be willing to join our team of volunteers next year.
