Dear KHAS Member,
Our next KHAS meeting will be on Monday, 14th September, 7:30pm for 7:45pm start. Our speaker is John Purcell with a talk entitled, “Earlsdon’s Lost Industrial Heritage”.

It will be held at our usual venue, Kenilworth Senior Citizens Centre, Abbey End car park.
We also have our two Heritage Open Day weekends at the Abbey ‘Barn’ Museum on 12th & 13th, and 19th & 20th September from 2.30 to 4.30 pm.
On the first Saturday and Sunday, there will be a guided walk of the abbey ruins starting at 3.00pm from the museum. Please register for a place at the museum as there will be a limited number of places available, which will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Both entry to the museum and the walks are free, although a donation is always appreciated.
This year, the museum will close for the end of season on Sunday, 27th September and hopefully will re-open at Easter 2027.
Unfortunately I will not be able to join you for the first meeting after summer but Joanna, our Vice-chair, will be looking forward to seeing you.
Good wishes,
Tony Shakespeare
