Our next KHAS meeting is tonight, Monday, 9th June, at 7:30 for 7:45 pm start. This will be at our usual venue, Kenilworth Senior Citizen Centre, Abbey End car park.
Just prior to the 450th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth I’s visit to Kenilworth Castle in July of 1575, our speaker will be Gillian White, talking on “Dudley, Elizabeth and the Kenilworth Entertainments of 1575”.
Non-members are welcome, £2.
This will be our last meeting before the summer outings, which will begin with an evening visit and tour of the castle.
Don’t forget that you can purchase a copy of Langham’s Letter, detailing the Queen’s visit and the entertainments of 1575, from the museum, the bookshops in town or at the meeting on Monday night, priced at £3.50.
Please let friends and family know that the museum, situated in the Abbey Fields, near the children’s play area and the Gatehouse, is open on Sunday afternoons and bank holidays from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
